10 New Cases of Coronavirus Registered in Artsakh

According to information provided by the Ministry of Health of the Artsakh Republic, 10 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the republic, reports the Artsakh Information Headquarters.

Nine of the infected are residents of the city of Stepanakert, who are contacts of previously confirmed clusters. One case was confirmed during a study conducted when seeking treatment at a medical facility. The infected individual is a resident of the Dashushen community in the Askeran region.

Necessary work is underway to determine the circle of contacts of the patients. Eight citizens have recovered.

To date, COVID-19 has been diagnosed in 404 individuals, of which 337 have overcome the illness. Currently, 65 people are receiving treatment, and a total of 86 citizens are in isolation. For testing purposes, 181 samples have been taken. So far, 14,043 samples have been tested.
