Where is Mikayel Minasian Now? A New Person Will Be Detained in His Criminal Case

This was stated today, September 24, by the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, Eduard Hovhannisyan, during a conversation with journalists after a governmental meeting, in response to the news that the former Armenian ambassador to the Vatican, Mikayel Minasian, has had his charges supplemented and the court has made a detention decision.

"The court has decided to approve another petition from the investigator to select detention as a measure of restraint for Leonid Arevshatyan, the manager of Mikayel Minasian's affairs," he said.

When asked where Mikayel Minasian is currently located, Eduard Hovhannisyan did not provide a clear answer: "Law enforcement may have information about it, but I will not disclose that."
