This is not a political election, it is not a political struggle. Hrayr Tovmasyan
Former President of the Constitutional Court, judge Hrayr Tovmasyan, stated during a conversation with journalists in front of the Constitutional Court that he has not discussed any candidacy with any judge.
"I can assume that certain members are having discussions among themselves, but I am not aware of all of that," said Hrayr Tovmasyan.
Tovmasyan urged not to turn the election of the President of the Constitutional Court into a matter of the century or even the day, noting that the president of the Court does not differ in his main functions from other judges of the Constitutional Court.
"This is not a political election, it is not a political struggle, it is a small internal procedure," said Hrayr Tovmasyan.
