Azerbaijani Media Quickly Edited False Information Distributed Yesterday: Artsakh Presidential Spokesman
The spokesman for the President of Artsakh, Vahram Poghosyan, made a post on his Facebook page regarding the editing of misinformation distributed by Azerbaijani media yesterday following a strong reaction from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
"After the strong reaction from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Azerbaijani media quickly edited the misinformation they had disseminated yesterday, distorting the words of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who allegedly spoke about returning certain territories and other anti-Armenian topics during a meeting with the speaker of the Milli Majlis concerning the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The long-standing tendency of our neighbor to present desired facts instead of reality ended in disgrace. Of course, one can imagine the brief excitement and profound disappointment experienced by some high-ranking Azerbaijani officials, but such incidents are also a wonderful opportunity for reflection and realization of one’s own weaknesses.
