Earthquake in Shirak Province: Tremors Felt in Zugaghbyur and Ashotq Villages with 2-3 Magnitude

On September 23, at 02:01 local time (22:01 GMT on September 22), the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.5, at a depth of 10 km, located 7 km southeast of the village of Ashotq, at geographic coordinates of 41.02° N and 43.94° E.

The intensity of the underground tremors in the epicentral zone was measured at 3 points. The earthquake was felt in the villages of Zugaghbyur and Ashotq in Shirak province, with an intensity of 2-3 points.
