Demolition of Fifth Entrance at 1 Rainis Street and Construction of Retaining Wall Planned
In the coming days, a competition for construction works will be announced to address the consequences of the building collapse at 1 Rainis Street. This information was reported by the Yerevan Municipality.
Mayor Hayk Marutyan was informed today about the plan to dismantle the fifth entrance, build a retaining wall, and fully renovate the building's roof.
Based on a decision by the Armenian government, the owners of 12 apartments will be provided with certificates for apartment purchases. For financing purposes, 182 million AMD will be allocated from the reserve fund to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
