Car Overturns on Yegvard-Nor Geghi Road; Driver in Serious Condition

On September 19, at 19:20, the Kotayk regional crisis management center received a report that an accident had occurred on the Yegvard-Nor Geghi road: a car had overturned, and there were casualties requiring the assistance of rescuers.

A firefighting-rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) regional rescue department dispatched one combat unit to the scene.

It was determined that at the 1st kilometer of the Yegvard-Nor Geghi road, a Mercedes E280 vehicle (driver Vahe H., born in 1982) went off the roadway and overturned (approximately 6 meters). Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver was removed from the vehicle by local forces and was hospitalized at Armenia Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as serious.
