Turkey and Russia to Negotiate Idlib Issues in Ankara
On September 16, Russia and Turkey will hold another round of negotiations regarding the recent events in Syria's Idlib province. This was announced by the Turkish Ministry of Defense. According to the statement, the meeting will take place in Ankara at the Ministry of Defense building. This information is reported by Ermenihaber.am.
Earlier, on September 15, Russian armed forces carried out a major operation in northeastern Syria, targeting the bases of terrorist groups.
It is noteworthy that Turkey and Russia had previously agreed in March to establish a ceasefire regime in Idlib and to begin joint patrols along the M4 highway.
