From September 15, Schoolchildren Can Again Visit Cultural Institutions
With the start of the new academic year on September 15, the school subscription program will continue, allowing museums that joined the program to be accessible via subscription tickets for approximately 400,000 students and teachers in the country, as announced by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of Armenia.
The purpose of the program is to ensure that schoolchildren and teachers have the freedom to visit cultural institutions of their choice.
It is worth noting that the school subscription system is designed for students in grades 1-12 at public educational schools and their teachers. The implementation of the system gives every student and teacher the opportunity to enter three cultural institutions free of charge once during the academic year.
The program aims to strengthen the connection between schools and cultural institutions and contribute to the artistic education and aesthetic development of children and adolescents. The initiative started in November 2018.
