The assassin named Ulfat Hasanov is a member of the Azerbaijani special forces known as 052 (or Yashma), where he has served since 2003. For a full decade, the state has spent millions on this individual. Azerbaijan sent him abroad for training, including to Turkey, to turn him into a killer. Since 2013, he has resumed his main duties. However, during his primary mission, our forces neutralized him in such a way that he remains a costly assassin for Azerbaijan. Long-term treatment, a high pension, and so forth. We have also taken such individuals out of action during the July battles…”
