Putin and Lavrov Apologize to Serbian President for Zakharova's Post

“President Putin has never apologized to me for anything, nor has Sergei Lavrov. They did this because of Zakharova's post. I didn't even remember that incident,” said Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, adding that they have good relations and this incident is not significant for him.

It is noteworthy that Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, had posted on her Facebook page a photo of Aleksandar Vucic alongside Donald Trump, with another photo from the film “Basic Instinct,” captioned: “If you are invited to the White House and chairs are arranged in a way that makes it seem like you’re being interrogated, sit the way the person in the second photo is depicted, no matter who you are. Just believe me.”
