Significant Change in Rules for Entering Ukraine
The Ukrainian government's new decision has led to certain changes and clarifications regarding the rules for entry into Ukraine for foreigners and stateless persons, effective from today until September 28, 2020. This information has been provided by the Armenian Embassy in Ukraine.
“The list of relatives of Ukrainian citizens who are allowed to cross the border has been expanded; the entry ban no longer applies to those who are the grandparent of a Ukrainian citizen. TRANSIT THROUGH UKRAINE IS PROHIBITED. It has not yet been clarified whether the ban also applies to passengers remaining in the transit zone of Boryspil Airport or not (we will provide additional information).
The categories of individuals allowed to enter Ukraine for educational purposes have also been specified. Entry is permitted for those who will be studying only at HIGHER EDUCATIONAL institutions,” the embassy’s statement reads.
