Mother of 6-Year-Old Boy Who Died from Brutal Beating in Khashatarak Ate Fish That Had Been Eaten by Ferrets

In the village of Khashatarak in the Tavush Province, locals are unaware of the death of the mother of a 6-year-old boy, who died after being beaten by his grandfather. This was reported to Aravot.am by the village mayor, Andranik Virabyan.

The mayor is not aware of any other health issues the deceased woman had, besides her mental health problems. “We don’t know what caused her bleeding, she had improved later and was transferred to a psychiatric hospital, but they did not give her the antidote, and they say that’s what led to her death. She had eaten fish that were poisoned,” said the deceased woman’s mother-in-law, Emma Hakobjanyan.

Regarding her husband’s health, Emma Hakobjanyan mentioned that he is still in the hospital. “The doctor said that your husband should also receive that medicine; if he doesn’t take it, he will also end up like that and may not recover. All our family members, except for my daughter, have been poisoned by rat poison, unknowingly consuming it,” she added.
