Investigative Committee's Report on April Events Found in Unauthorised Hands, Gorgisyan Alerts

It has come to light that a report containing classified information from the investigative committee looking into the circumstances of the military actions that took place in April 2016 has been found in the hands of an individual who has no authority to access such materials.

This information was shared on Facebook by Gevorg Gorgisyan, a member of the ‘Enlightened Armenia’ bloc in the National Assembly.

“Moreover, the individual has made this information public. I call upon the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, the Council of the National Assembly, the permanent committee on defense and security issues, and the National Security Service to pay attention to this fact and clarify how classified information has been leaked from the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. Appropriate measures should be taken to identify the responsible parties and hold them accountable to prevent the recurrence of such incidents,” emphasized the lawmaker.

Gorgisyan also attached a post from one of the Facebook users to his statement.
