The In-Person Learning Process Must Be Halted Immediately: Melkumyan Appeals to the Chief Medical Officer
The Deputy of the ‘’Bright Armenia’’ faction in the National Assembly, Mikayel Melkumyan, has made a post on his Facebook page informing that he is appealing to the Chief Medical Officer to immediately halt the in-person learning process.
“Dear compatriots, I believe that the in-person learning process in higher educational institutions and schools should be halted immediately, and we should revert to remote learning. The infection rates had barely lowered in recent days. What do we want now, new outbreaks? Who needs that? The reason I am making this post is that I have already received alerts from several educational institutions about cases of infection. I urgently appeal to Chief Medical Officer T. Avinyan: urgently discuss the current situation and make new decisions,” wrote the MP from the Bright Armenia party.
