Director of N114 School Returns to Former Position
The director of Yerevan's N114 school, who was dismissed due to a video circulated online, has been reinstated. The information has been confirmed by Ruza Kostanyan herself in a conversation with armtimes.
Months ago, she received a severe reprimand from the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, and was subsequently dismissed from her position. The reason was a video taken during the graduation certificate handover at the school, which showed that graduates and the director did not comply with the anti-epidemic regulations established during the state of emergency.
The director had filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Education. Kostanyan reported that the court hearing has not yet taken place. The Administrative Court suspended the severe reprimand, and after some time, the Minister of Education canceled the dismissal order, allowing the director to return to her former position.
