Karen Khachatryan Will Continue to Remain in Custody

The Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan, presided over by Judge Arthur Mkrtchyan, on September 2, rejected the defense's motion to change the measure of restraint for Karen Khachatryan, the nephew of former State Revenue Committee Chairman Gagik Khachatryan. Khachatryan will continue to remain in custody.

Khachatryan was also present at the court session. His lawyer, Amram Makinyan, stated during the hearing on the measure of restraint that his client had been in freedom twice but did not evade investigation.
