Criminal Case Initiated Involving Goris Mayor's Alleged Participation in Incident
Reports have emerged in the media alleging that an incident took place involving Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan. In an interview with Armenpress, the head of the public relations department of the RA Prosecutor's Office, Arevik Khachatryan, informed that a criminal case has been initiated at the Prosecutor's Office of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts based on a citizen's complaint, under Article 113 (infliction of medium severity bodily harm with intent), subpoints 3 and 6.
“The investigation has been entrusted to the Special Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee,” Khachatryan stated.
Additionally, information circulating online suggests that there was a brawl-involving the Goris mayor and a video purportedly showing the mayor's alleged participation is also widely circulated.
