Teachers in Schools Will Be Tested Ahead of the Academic Year
In the new academic year, necessary measures will be undertaken by the Yerevan City Hall in cooperation with the Ministry of Health to prevent the possible penetration of the pandemic into schools. A special consultation has been convened at the City Hall with the participation of the heads of Yerevan's polyclinics. This information has been reported by the Yerevan City Hall.
Before the start of the academic year, all teachers will be required to undergo testing. This will exclude the entry of infected staff into schools at that time. Additional information on where and how the testing will be conducted will be provided later. The issue of further testing is also under discussion.
The health posts in schools will be provided with the necessary medications, and the nurses will be retrained and will work according to a modified schedule. Kamsar Babinyan, head of the Yerevan City Hall's Health Department, emphasized that preparatory work must be organized within the shortest possible timeframe.
