This is Political Persecution: Vahe Enfiajyan
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Vahe Enfiajyan wrote on his Facebook page: “This is a story of 'a storm in a teacup.' Leave my neighbors and residents of my community alone... For days, residents living near my home and employees of special purpose areas have been summoned to the Police, attempting to extract some information, disrupting people's normal life and peace.
Instead of addressing urgent issues threatening state security, they are trying to extort and distribute fabricated information. I have previously clarified everything about this incident publicly and have left no question unanswered. In my opinion, the absurdity lies in the fact that after my statement, none of the law enforcement agencies attempted to personally contact me to check on my health or security. Moreover, they find it necessary to hear the opinion of an individual convicted of murder, who has mental issues, but do not try to verify anything with the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia.
After all these days, we can clearly state that this is political persecution. DO NOT BACK DOWN!”
