VIDEO. Pollutants from Old, Abandoned Mines and Tailings Are Mixing with Debed River Waters, Environmentalist Raises Alarm
Environmentalist Oleg Dulgarian has published a video on his Facebook page stating: "One of the polluters of the Debed River is located near Alaverdi city, at the Sanahin bridge, where a tributary flowing down from the village of Maden has a yellowish color, indicating that waters are mixing with waste from old, abandoned mines and tailings."
