Explosion Occurs Near Shipping Company Office in Greece
On the night of July 29, a homemade explosive device detonated on Papandreou Street in the port city of Piraeus, close to a shipping company office, with no reported injuries. This was reported by 'Armenpress', as stated by the Greek public television EPT on July 29.
According to the television report, the explosion caused significant material damage to the company's building. The police and firefighters temporarily blocked traffic near the building to collect the remnants of the explosive device.
Initial information indicates that the explosion was powerful, as parts of the bomb were found five to six meters away from the office. As reported by the Zougla.gr news portal, this incident is not the first attack on the shipping company. On January 17 of this year, unknown individuals had placed an incendiary device near the company's office, which had also been severely damaged at that time. On January 27, unknown persons placed a powerful incendiary device near the home of the shipping company's owner, where his parents were at the time, according to TASS.
