Citizen Electrocuted
On July 28, at 12:21 PM, the National Center for Crisis Management received a call reporting smoke coming from an electrical substation near building number 10 on Totoventsi Street in Yerevan. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Two firefighting units from the Yerevan Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a citizen named Hovhannes G. (born in 1993) attempted to disconnect the electricity from the electrical panel at the entrance of building number 8 on Totoventsi Street, resulting in a short circuit of the electrical wires without causing a fire. The citizen was electrocuted and, before rescuers arrived, was transported to the hospital by local individuals.
The rescuers maintained duty until the electrical network employees arrived.
