Body of 21-Year-Old Citizen Recovered from Arpa River
On July 28, at 18:14, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a citizen had drowned near the old road leading to Jermuk, at the bank of the Arpa River in a reservoir; assistance from rescuers was required.
An operational group from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Regional Rescue Department of Vayots Dzor Province, along with one firefighting and rescue unit, was dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that a citizen named Edgar G. (born in 1999) had drowned in the area known as “Mamrazh.” Before the firefighting and rescue teams arrived at the scene, the body had been recovered from the river.
