15 Azerbaijanis Arrested for Organizing Anti-Armenian Protests in Iran
Iranian authorities have brutally suppressed the actions of Azerbaijanis organizing anti-Armenian protests. The demonstrations took place in front of the Armenian Embassy in Tehran and the Azerbaijani Consulate in Tabriz, as well as on Ata Street in the city of Urmia.
However, the police and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps intervened and prevented the holding of these anti-Armenian events. A total of 15 Azerbaijani protesters have been arrested and moved to prisons in the mentioned cities.
