A Citizen in Armenia Re-Diagnosed with Covid-19 40 Days After Initial Infection
A case of reinfection with the coronavirus has been recorded in Armenia. Facebook user and Yerevan State Medical University student Arsen Harutyunyan posted on his Facebook page that he has been infected again 40 days after recovering from Covid-19.
“Reinfection does exist. About 40 days after my previous infection, I was diagnosed with Covid-19 again yesterday, this time with bilateral infiltrative pneumonia. I urge all those I have been in contact with in recent days to self-isolate. I myself also didn’t believe it was possible to be infected a second time within such a timeframe, but here we are. Stay healthy,” he wrote.
