66-Year-Old Man Trapped in Fire While Burning Grass: Details of the Tragic Incident
A resident of the Vostan community in the Ararat region, 66-year-old Martin P., became trapped in a large fire while burning dried grass, leading to his suffocation and burning. This was reported by the community leader, Hakob Khachatryan, to NEWS.am.
Earlier, it was reported that on July 27, at 15:08, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting a fire in a grassy area near one of the houses on Yerevan Street in Vostan village. The fire was contained by 15:37 and extinguished by 15:44. Firefighters found the body of Martin P. (born 1954) at the site of the fire.
