Salaries of Police Officers in Artsakh to Increase from September 1: Araik Harutyunyan
The President of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, visited the N military unit of the Defense Army today and familiarized himself with the training sessions of police officers (nearly all subdivisions are included in the program). He shared this information on his Facebook page, along with a video of his visit.
“We must understand that we are the main reserve of the Defense Army, we are the backup forces, and at some point, when necessary, we must carry out the assigned combat tasks alongside them. From September 1, there will be an increase in salaries for you,” the president told the police officers.
In his Facebook post, Araik Harutyunyan specifically mentioned: “Dear compatriots, today, accompanied by the Minister of Defense Jalal Harutyunyan and the Chief of Police Ashot Hakobyan, I visited the N military unit of the Defense Army and familiarized myself with the training sessions of police officers (nearly all subdivisions are included in the program). Both the officers of the special department of the NSS and the police officers are acquiring skills in the use of certain types of weaponry in accordance with my instructions. The preliminary results were satisfactory.
“Today was also a good opportunity to get acquainted with the improved types of weapons developed by specialists in the Armenian defense industry, which are already being successfully used in our armed forces.”
“A strong border, a solid rear, a protected Homeland” will always be at the core of our military-political efforts.
P.S. World sambo champion Mavrik Nasibyan, who holds the position of battalion commander in the police, also showcased his abilities on the “Fagot” anti-tank complex training machine, receiving an excellent evaluation befitting a champion during the training session.”
