Vanadzor-Alaverdi Road Segment Temporarily Closed

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has announced that as of June 12 at 10:30, the roadways in Armenia are passable.

From 10:00 to 19:00, the Vanadzor-Alaverdi section of the M-6 road will be closed for road construction works.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of North Ossetia of Russia, the Stepanstav-Mindal-Lars road is open only for freight transport due to the state of emergency.

Information from the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that the ban on the entry of foreigners into Georgia remains in effect. However, the ban does not apply to cargo transportation.
