The Number of Deaths from Coronavirus in Turkey Reaches 4763

On June 11, 17 people died from coronavirus (Covid-19) in Turkey. This was announced by Turkey's Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, on his official Twitter account, as reported by Ermenihaber.

He noted that during a single day, 49,190 tests were conducted, resulting in 987 new confirmed cases of the virus. During the same period, there were 17 deaths among those infected, while 1,021 people recovered.

According to official data, a total of 147,860 people have recovered from the outbreak in Turkey, while 643 patients remain in intensive care. Thus, the latest figures indicate that Turkey has recorded a total of 174,023 infections and 4,763 deaths. The total number of tests conducted has reached 2,500,890.
