Petrosyan Receives Warning for Not Wearing a Mask in Parliament
Gevorg Petrosyan from the Prosperous Armenia Party received a warning in the National Assembly for not wearing a mask. "According to the National Assembly's 'Regulatory Law,' a warning is issued to MPs Gevorg Petrosyan and Tigran Urikhanyan," announced the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan.
“One moment, one moment,” Urikhanyan responded from the hall and put on his mask. The hall erupted in laughter. Mirzoyan admonished, “Silence in the hall, I need to understand my actions. You’re putting it on, Mr. Urikhanyan? Very well, then a warning is issued to Gevorg Petrosyan.”
It is worth noting that earlier, the Speaker had informed that those MPs who do not wear masks would be warned and then removed from the hall.
