Kim Balayan Invited as a Witness in Robert Kocharyan Case
According to the newspaper "Iravunk", the situation surrounding the Constitutional Court has prompted efforts to speak with former Constitutional Court judge Kim Balayan, who has been persistently silent, stating that now is not the time. In a recent conversation, he reiterated this sentiment:
“The time will come, I will speak, but now is still not the time.”
“When will that time come, Mr. Balayan?”
“I have been invited to testify in the Robert Kocharyan case. Until the questioning happens, I will not speak on that topic.”
“So is that the reason for your silence?”
“Yes, yes.”
“But what does that have to do with the Constitutional Court?”
“It has a very strong connection; I believe it is closely related, that is all I can say.”
