Gagik Khachatryan to Remain in Custody
The Court of Appeals, presided over by Judge Armen Danielyan, has denied the appeal from the defense of former head of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) Gagik Khachatryan against the extension of his detention by two months. Khachatryan will stay in custody, his lawyer Yerem Sargsyan informed Azatutyun.
It is worth noting that on Saturday, the court went into a consultative session to make a decision regarding Khachatryan's pre-trial measure.
Having served as the head of the State Revenue Committee from 2008 to 2014, Khachatryan, according to his lawyers, suffers from spine and musculoskeletal issues and has an implant in his body.
