Significant Wind Intensification Expected in Many Regions of the Republic: Gagik Surenyan
The head of the Meteorological Center of the Emergency Situations Ministry, Gagik Surenyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "Due to the influence of a cyclone from the south, from May 23-25, especially in the afternoon, significant wind intensification is expected in many regions of the republic, reaching 25-30 m/s, and in some localities, 30-35 m/s, which is considered a dangerous meteorological phenomenon.
In Yerevan and the Ararat Plain, the maximum wind speed is predicted for May 24-25, at 20-22 m/s."
