Opponent Fires 3000 Rounds at Armenian Defenders
From May 17 to 23, during the period of the Artsakh-Azerbaijani conflict, the opponent violated the ceasefire regime more than 180 times in the contact zone, firing approximately 3000 rounds from various calibers of firearms towards Armenian defenders.
In addition to the aforementioned violations of the ceasefire, on May 22, the opponent attempted a diversionary infiltration towards one of the Armenian Armed Forces positions. The frontline units of the Armenian Defense Army (ADA) timely identified the advance of Azerbaijani special forces and, inflicting losses on them, pushed them back to their initial positions. During the exchange of fire, the ADA did not sustain any losses.
The ADA frontline units continue to maintain full control along the front line and take necessary measures to reliably organize the defense of combat positions.
