12 out of 15 Elderly Residents of Norq Nursing Home Hospitalized with Coronavirus
12 out of the 15 elderly residents infected with coronavirus at the Norq Nursing Home in Yerevan are currently hospitalized. This news has been confirmed by the spokesperson for the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, Sona Martirosyan.
Sona Martirosyan stated that one of the elderly individuals is in extremely critical condition, while the others are in stable condition. She also mentioned that there are 3 additional confirmed cases, but due to a lack of symptoms, they are isolated at the nursing home.
Martirosyan noted that since April 21, there has been no opportunity to allow entry or exit from the facility: “Doctors, caregivers, and all staff are working in shifts. One group stays for 14 days, then the next group rotates in.”
