Citizen Attempts to Attack Avinyan in Front of Government Building
According to Tert.am, an incident occurred yesterday in front of the Government building during the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Emergency Situations, Tigran Avinyan. A citizen waiting in front of the government quickly approached Avinyan, spoke to him, shouted, and attempted to attack him.
Following the incident between the citizen and the Deputy Prime Minister, law enforcement officers responsible for security in front of the Government transferred the individual to a police station, and he was later moved to a mental health center. The citizen claimed that he has known Avinyan for a long time and has something to say to him.
In a conversation with Tert.am, Avinyan's spokesperson Vahan Hunanian responded to the question regarding the incident involving the Deputy Prime Minister by stating, “A citizen standing in front of the building raised his voice shortly before entering the government. Nothing else occurred; it wasn't even an incident.”
It is noteworthy that, according to our information, the citizen has been discharged from the mental health center.
