Line at MRU Reaches Several Hundred Meters, Says Sergey Ghahramanyan
Long queues of vehicles have accumulated at the inspection station; services are being provided starting today. In an interview with LURER.com, Sergey Ghahramanyan, co-founder of the public organization ‘Driver’s Friend,’ stated that the lines were expected.
“People have been queuing since Friday to be serviced today. On Saturday, the line of cars extended up to 250 meters in two rows and was still growing. No one wants to wait several days, and this situation was to be expected. It takes 3-4 people to accompany each vehicle, while the owner’s presence is mandatory for the actual process. This creates additional congestion. Over the past two months, fewer registration actions have been carried out, with the main actions to be undertaken from now on, and to avoid congestion, people had to wait several days before they could go. I don’t think anything will change,” Ghahramanyan noted.
