One Person Arrested for Violence Against Seda Safaryan's Daughter and Son-in-law
In connection with the case of violence against Seda Safaryan's daughter, son-in-law, and their relatives, a suspect has been arrested following extensive investigative and other procedural actions carried out by the Malatia-Sebastia Division of the Yerevan City Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee. This was reported by the RA Investigative Committee.
The individual has been charged under Article 258, Part 3, Points 1 and 2 of the RA Criminal Code (hooliganism) and has been remanded in custody as a preventive measure.
Previously, it was reported that on April 24, 2020, at 22:30, in the Mush neighborhood of Yerevan, the individuals suspected of committing the crime grossly violated public order for an extended period, displaying blatant disrespect towards society by arguing, making noise, cursing, and committing acts of violence against Seda Safaryan's daughter, son-in-law, and their relatives.
The investigation is ongoing. Measures are being taken to clarify all circumstances of the incident and to identify the other person involved in the incident.
