Meeting Held with Prime Minister Pashinyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting to discuss proposals for the revision of the real estate taxation system in Armenia. These proposals were presented based on the results of earlier discussions held with the Prime Minister.
Specifically, the proposals pertain to the tax rates for residential properties, public and commercial areas, garages, and undeveloped land plots. The methodology for the assessment of properties and areas was also addressed, along with the potential impacts of changes to the tax rates.
It was noted that the aim of the proposals is to increase the precision of taxation. As a result of the changes, it is expected that an efficient assessment and taxation system for real estate will be implemented in the country.
Summarizing this and previous discussions, the Prime Minister instructed the responsible parties to discuss the proposed changes with the leaders and representatives of the relevant committees in the National Assembly, and to finalize the draft based on the outcomes of those discussions.
