The spokesperson for the Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Defense, Shushan Stepanyan, wrote on her Facebook page:
“The liberation of Shushi was a great victorious baptism for our army. It is no coincidence that the day of the liberation of Shushi, May 9, 1992, was declared the foundation day of the Artsakh Defense Army.
An army that is a strong force today, proving every day that the adversary's warlike bluster means nothing.
