Consulate of Armenia in Rostov-on-Don Appeals to Drafted Citizens
The Consulate of Armenia in Rostov-on-Don has made an appeal to drafted citizens: "Citizens subject to mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia who were unable to return to their homeland on time due to restrictions imposed because of the pandemic and the absence of air communication are required to send their information to the following email address: [email protected]. This is necessary for regulating further legal processes and, if possible, organizing their transfer to the Republic of Armenia.
In the letter addressed to the Consulate of Armenia in Rostov-on-Don, it is required to mention the citizen's name, surname, patronymic, passport series and number, date of birth, the name of the military commissariat at the registration place or the registration address in Armenia, the location in that country, mobile phone number, email address, Viber, and WhatsApp.
The Consulate will establish contact with the registered citizens at the first opportunity and will inform them about possible options for returning to Armenia. It is reminded that citizens returning to their homeland for the purpose of mandatory military service will be provided with a return certificate free of charge if their passport has expired.
