Armenian from Istanbul Harutyun Shanloun Passes Away from Coronavirus

Harutyun Shanloun, who was infected with the coronavirus, has died at the Armenian Surb Prkich Hospital in Istanbul. The Armenian community in Istanbul is in deep mourning, as Harutyun Shanloun was beloved within the community, serving as the Secretary of the Administration of Armenian Foundations in Turkey and the President of the Gedikpaşa Armenian Church Foundation.

Harutyun Shanloun had been hospitalized for nearly 50 days and sadly passed away on May 6. He was 56 years old and a father of two children.
