Roads in Armenia Mostly Passable
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of 08:15 on May 4, the roads in the Republic of Armenia are mostly passable. However, the roads leading to the Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn Province will remain closed for an indefinite period.
Regarding the Lars situation, according to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Management Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' North Ossetian Crisis Management Center, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open only for freight vehicles after intensive snow removal operations.
At the same time, it is communicated that the ban on foreign nationals entering Georgia remains in effect. This ban does not apply to freight transport.
