Restrictions in Maralik and Dzorakap Extended Until April 30: Governor
The Governor of Shirak, Tigran Petrosyan, announced on his Facebook page that the restrictions in Maralik and Dzorakap will be extended until April 30 at 23:59.
“Dear compatriots, beloved residents of Maralik and Dzorakap, pursuant to Decision No. 56 of the Commandant, a change is being made to the third point of Decision No. 45 regarding the restrictions applied in the towns of Maralik and Dzorakap in the Anip community of Shirak Province from April 18, 2020. The restrictions in these areas will be extended until April 30 at 23:59,” he wrote.
According to regional officials of the COVID-19 Ministry of Health, this measure will allow for a more manageable situation in terms of preventing the spread of the viral disease in those areas.
We thank the residents of Maralik and Dzorakap for their understanding regarding the restrictions and for demonstrating a responsible attitude,” he added.
