One More Coronavirus Case Confirmed in Artsakh; Total Infections Reach 8

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh reports that the test results of another citizen suspected of having contracted the new coronavirus have come back positive, confirming the infection.

The Ministry also informs that the aforementioned citizen was part of the contact group of the first infected person from Karvachar, who had been self-isolating since April 11 and was admitted to the Republican Medical Center for isolation starting April 17.

To date, a total of 8 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Artsakh, with three individuals already having recovered.

The Artsakh Information Headquarters previously reported that the test results of 17 citizens suspected of having the coronavirus were negative. A previous resident of Karvachar, who had been infected earlier, has also been retested. The coronavirus infection is no longer confirmed in this individual, and they are expected to be discharged from the medical facility.
