Draft Constitutional Amendments to be Presented by June 30, 2021
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has made changes to the decision from February 12 regarding the establishment of a professional commission for constitutional reforms, as per the decision made on April 23.
According to the amendment, following Article 1, Part 2, and Article 34, Part 1 of the Law on Normative Legal Acts of the Republic of Armenia, the following changes are made to point 4 of the Prime Minister's decision № 181-A of February 12, 2020:
- To develop the concept of constitutional reforms by December 31, 2020, ensure its public discussion, and present it to the Prime Minister's office.
- To develop and present the draft amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia to the Prime Minister's office by June 30, 2021.
