Draft Constitutional Amendments to be Presented by June 30, 2021

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has made changes to the decision from February 12 regarding the establishment of a professional commission for constitutional reforms, as per the decision made on April 23.

According to the amendment, following Article 1, Part 2, and Article 34, Part 1 of the Law on Normative Legal Acts of the Republic of Armenia, the following changes are made to point 4 of the Prime Minister's decision № 181-A of February 12, 2020:

1. To develop the concept of constitutional reforms by December 31, 2020, ensure its public discussion, and present it to the Prime Minister's office.
2. To develop and present the draft amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia to the Prime Minister's office by June 30, 2021.
