Roads in Armenia Mostly Passable, Ministry of Emergency Situations Reports
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of 09:00 on April 22, the roads in Armenia are mostly passable.
However, the roads leading to Amberd Fortress and K'ari Lake in the Aragatsotn region will remain closed for an indefinite period.
According to information received from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is currently open only for freight transport following intensive snow removal work.
At the same time, it is reported that the decision prohibiting the entry of foreigners into Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight transport.
