Video: Anna Naghdalyan's Response to Azerbaijan

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia responds to the question regarding Azerbaijan's reaction to the elections held in Artsakh: Azerbaijan is attempting to involve the international community in its campaign against human rights in Artsakh. For this purpose, Azerbaijan does not shy away from a selective presentation and outright distortion of various international reactions concerning the elections.

Azerbaijan tries to ignore the key messages of these reactions, which pertain to the role of the people of Artsakh in deciding their own future and the necessity of elections from the perspective of public governance in Artsakh. Meanwhile, these messages are crucial for creating favorable conditions for advancing peaceful resolution.

In our region, the formation of authorities that express the will of the people, accountable to that same people, is critical for transforming the conflict and reconciling the nations. The people of Artsakh took another important step in this direction on March 31 and April 14.
