What Support is Expected for Beneficiaries: The Minister Details

The Minister of Labor and Social Issues, Zaruhy Batoyan, has announced that families receiving social assistance will receive a one-time support amounting to half of the benefit they currently receive. Of this one-time assistance, 30% will be allocated to cover electricity expenses, while the remaining 70% will be provided in cash.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had previously stated, “Today we have decided that beneficiaries will receive a one-time support equivalent to half of their benefit. 30 percent of this one-time assistance will be transferred to cover their utility expenses, regardless of whether they are beneficiaries of the 11th program or not. The remaining part will be provided in cash as one-time support.”
